Event Manager (m/w/d) internal developer events
DEIN AUFGABENGEBIET:
- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Event Manager to support our corporate R&D
Events program by managing in-house developer events. You'll be responsible for all aspects of
event planning, execution, and follow-up, reporting directly to the R&D Program Manager.
- Event Project Management: support in the planning and execution of developer events.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate all event logistics, including venue reservation, catering
arrangements, expo area design and setup, AV requirements, and on-site event team coordination.
- Content Management Support: Maintain and update the event website and online platform including
uploading event programs, speaker abstracts, presentations, and post-event recordings. Create and
manage links for individual talk sessions.
- Speaker & Participant Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers, providing clear
communication regarding event details, presentation requirements, and logistics. Assist participants
with registration and event-related inquiries.
- Administrative Support: Handle other back-office tasks related to event management to ensure
smooth event operations.
- Post-Event Follow-up: Manage post-event surveys and reporting.
DEIN PROFIL:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of proven experience in event management, preferably with a focus on technical or
developer events.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with content management systems (Confluence, Sharepoint, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with technical events is a plus.
